I have posted a few links that have lists of Astronomy Clubs. Hopefully you can find an Astronomy Club close to you in one of these lists. I will be posting more connections to astronomy clubs and astronomy associations as I find them, so check back here often. Also check you local camera shop if you cant find a club. Most camera buffs know at least one astronomer that is doing astrophotography.

If you can't find an Astronomy Club close enough for you to join...Then start one of your own...The local schools and camera shop will be glad you did and may even help you orgainize it!

Stellafane

Stellafane is the oldest Astronomy convention in the US that I know of. It is in Vermount, so easterners can get their fill of first telescope information and accessories. I am sure if you go to the Stellafane convention you can find a astronomy club near you

RTMC

RTMC. Riverside Telescope Makers Conference is the Stellafane for the west coast. It is held in Big Bear lake in the mountains of Souther Calif. on Memorial Day weekend. See there site here
